Large or limited budgets, elegant or casual gatherings, there’s almost always overnight and out-of-town guests staying over. Some couples have created Welcome Bags as a small token of their gratitude, a thank you for their parents or in-laws to be. Many give to grandparents, family and friends traveling from afar. They can be personalized with some of you and your fiancé’s favorite things, but we always suggest placing a local map or the area guidebook along with a bottled water, tissues, mints and a maybe small snack. Personal size chips, crackers or pretzels, cheese sticks, nuts, chocolate or power bar are a great to munch on! Vermont by the Bushel can wholesale the welcome bags and the goodies to fill them. Some brides and their families prefer to fill the bags themselves and some would rather have us fill the bags and deliver them to the hotel to be placed in the guest rooms.
