Hildene
A wedding at Hildene is about more than one of Vermont’s most beautiful places. You and your guests will be part of a peaceful place dedicated to a sustainable landscape, local food, and the legacy of President Lincoln’s core values. Hildene was built in 1905 by Robert Lincoln son of our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln. The restored formal gardens and terrace sit on a promontory with breathtaking views of mountains and the sweeping valley below. A seasonal tent provides a gracious setting for any gathering up to 220 people and the adjacent support building is equipped with prep kitchen and beautifully appointed restrooms.
